Overview
This new peer-reviewed study uses advanced computer modelling to examine what happens to blood flow in the bovine brain immediately after the carotid arteries are severed during Shechita.
Claims that blood flow from intact vertebral arteries or vessel occlusions could prolong consciousness are frequently cited in debates on “religious slaughter.” However, this groundbreaking study directly tests those claims using fundamental principles of cardiovascular physics and shows they are not supported by the evidence. By demonstrating the rapid and catastrophic loss of cerebral perfusion following Shechita, this research provides clear, objective confirmation that Shechita certainly leads to rapid loss of consciousness.
